This machine is designed for people who live in newly constructed or renovated homes, and for people who are concerned about formaldehyde off-gassing, VOCs, or chemical irritants.
It is an 8 phase filter: two pre-filters, activated carbon, potassium iodide impregnated carbon, a mineral media, an impregnated mineral media, a 60 sq ft HEPA layer and a HEGA carbon cloth. The impregnated carbon is there for formaldehyde, VOCs and fumes from building materials. It helps reduce those in the air. No filter removes every chemical.
Austin Air machines carry no room size rating. It moves 250 cubic feet a minute on high, 125 on medium and 47 on low, from under 50 dB on low to 62 dB on high.
The housing is perforated steel with a baked on powder coat. It makes no ozone and no ions.
The filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal residential use, with a 5 year pro-rated filter warranty that pays a smaller share each year. The machine has a 5 year warranty once you register it with Austin Air. Austin Air builds it in Buffalo, New York. 23 inches high, 47 lb, 120 V.

Ships from Austin Air in Buffalo, NY, by UPS or FedEx. Processed the same or next business day (1 pm Eastern cutoff, Monday to Friday), then 1 to 3 business days in transit east of the Mississippi River or 3 to 5 west of it. Most orders arrive in 1 to 4 business days in the East and 3 to 6 in the West.

- Models not certified by the California Air Resources Board cannot ship to California. Checkout will not offer California delivery for them.

- Your card is authorized at order and charged only when we accept the order and put it into fulfillment.
- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return within 30 days of delivery with a flat $25 restocking fee. If the box arrives damaged, accept it and email us photos. A damaged, defective or wrong item is replaced free; if you choose a refund instead, you pay return shipping and the $25 fee. Cancel free of charge any time before it ships; once shipped, it is a return. Refunds are issued 3 to 5 business days after the return reaches the Austin Air return facility.
- 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. The unit must be like new, in its original packaging, with everything included.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: flat $25 restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: replaced free, and we pay all shipping both ways. If you choose a refund instead of a replacement, you pay return shipping and the flat $25 restocking fee.
