Use it anywhere: in a room, in a car, or in the office at work. It runs on 12V DC. A 12V wall power supply (part A4EL12VWL) and a 12V car adapter are sold as separate parts for this model.
Three stages. The 2.25 lb activated VOC carbon filter is the part for chemicals and odors. The True HEPA H13 filter is the part for fine particles, rated by AllerAir at 99.97 percent efficient at 0.3 microns. That is a filter rating, not a result measured in your room. A UV-C light rated for 50,000 hours comes on the UV version only.
It is built for the air around you at a desk, a bedside or in a car, not for a whole apartment next to a road. At 5 in high and 11 in across, 6.8 lb, it is a personal unit. For a full room near traffic, a floor unit with a deeper carbon bed is the better fit.
This model is not rated for nitrogen dioxide or carbon monoxide. No carbon filter removes every chemical.
40 to 69 dB from low to high on a variable speed. Low suits a desk or a bedside, the top setting is loud.
The filters are reached through bottom screws. How often to change it depends on your home and how hard the machine works. Chat with us or send us a message and we will help you plan it.
