The carbon is 12 lb of coconut shell carbon impregnated with potassium iodide, in a 2.25 inch bed. The potassium iodide accelerates the binding of chemicals, and it is built for airborne chemicals and VOCs from common household products. It helps reduce those smells. No carbon filter removes every chemical.
Airpura sizes it for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft, with two full air changes an hour at 8 ft ceilings. The fan moves 395 cubic feet a minute with no filters in.
The body is powder coated steel. Ozone emissions: none.
15.5 inches high and 12 inches wide, with a 3 speed fan and no casters, so you lift it between rooms. It runs on 110 to 120 volts.
Change the carbon every 2 years, the HEPA Barrier every year and the pre-filter every 12 months. Power cost is about $0.27 a day on medium, day and night. For home use, it is backed by Airpura's 5 year parts and labor warranty, then labor only up to year 10.

Ships by FedEx from Airpura's warehouse in New York. Airpura ships most orders in 1 to 3 business days, then FedEx delivers in 3 to 5 business days. Most orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days.

- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Start your return within 30 days of delivery. The unit must be in the same condition you got it: clean, undamaged, with the box, foam pieces and manuals. It goes back to Airpura's warehouse at 156 Lawrence Paquette Industrial Dr, Champlain, NY 12919, and you pay the return shipping. A 25 percent restocking fee comes off the refund. A unit used to filter heavy chemical fumes, or during a renovation, is inspected when it arrives, and the restocking fee depends on the damage found. Refunds go back to the original payment method, the same card or account you paid with.

- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: 25 percent restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: we pay all shipping both ways and no restocking fee applies.
