It reduces what is in the room. It does not seal the room. The HealthMate Plus Junior is made for wildfire smoke, wood burning smoke and traffic pollution, and sized for small rooms, apartments and offices. When smoke keeps arriving, the filter fills sooner. Rooms with heavy tobacco smoke or soot need a new filter more often.
Over 6.5 lb of activated carbon, potassium iodide impregnated carbon and zeolite. This stage targets VOCs, formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases and odors. Two pre-filters catch larger particles first, and 30 sq ft of HEPA media takes the fine ones.

If it wears out sooner, Austin Air's pro-rated filter warranty takes 40 percent off a new one up to 2 years of use, 30 percent from 2 to 3 years, 20 percent from 3 to 4 years and 10 percent from 4 to 5 years. The machine has a 5 year mechanical warranty. Austin Air machines carry no room size rating.

Ships from Austin Air in Buffalo, NY, by UPS or FedEx. Processed the same or next business day (1 pm Eastern cutoff, Monday to Friday), then 1 to 3 business days in transit east of the Mississippi River or 3 to 5 west of it. Most orders arrive in 1 to 4 business days in the East and 3 to 6 in the West.

- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return within 30 days of delivery with a flat $25 restocking fee. If the box arrives damaged, accept it and email us photos. A damaged, defective or wrong item is replaced free; if you choose a refund instead, you pay return shipping and the $25 fee. Cancel free of charge any time before it ships; once shipped, it is a return. Refunds are issued 3 to 5 business days after the return reaches the Austin Air return facility.
- 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. The unit must be like new, in its original packaging, with everything included.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: flat $25 restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: replaced free, and we pay all shipping both ways. If you choose a refund instead of a replacement, you pay return shipping and the flat $25 restocking fee.
