Check the label on your Austin Air. Standard size units start with HM4, Junior units start with HM2, and the Austin it is the small personal unit. This filter is for a standard size unit.
Any standard size Austin Air unit made in 1996 or later: HealthMate, HealthMate Plus, Bedroom Machine, Allergy Machine, Immunity Machine and Pet Machine. Not Junior or it models. The standard size filter fits any standard size machine.
FR410A is the black filter and FR410B is the white one. They are different parts. White filter for White and Sandstone units. Black filter for Black and Midnight Blue units.

This filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal home use. A room with heavy smoke, sawdust, chemical vapors or strong odors will use it up sooner. Change it when the air coming out starts to smell, or the airflow drops a lot.
Austin Air uses more mineral media and its own impregnated carbon in this filter, made to soak up ammonia type pet smells. The HEPA catches pet hair and dander.

Ships from Austin Air in Buffalo, NY, by UPS or FedEx. Processed the same or next business day (1 pm Eastern cutoff, Monday to Friday), then 1 to 3 business days in transit east of the Mississippi River or 3 to 5 west of it. Most orders arrive in 1 to 4 business days in the East and 3 to 6 in the West.

- We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes or APO and FPO addresses.
- Models not certified by the California Air Resources Board cannot ship to California. Checkout will not offer California delivery for them.
- No customs or duty charges on delivery. The price at checkout is the full price.
- Your card is authorized at order and charged only when we accept the order and put it into fulfillment.
- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return only if unopened, within 30 days of delivery, with a flat $25 restocking fee. Cancel free of charge any time before it ships; once shipped, it is a return. Refunds are issued 3 to 5 business days after the return reaches the Austin Air return facility.

- Our standard window is 30 days from delivery, unused and in like new condition, in the original packaging with everything included. A shorter or stricter brand rule above wins.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: flat $25 restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: replaced free, and we pay all shipping both ways. If you choose a refund instead of a replacement, you pay return shipping and the flat $25 restocking fee.
