The G400 is built in powder coated steel, and it makes no ozone.
8 lb of German activated carbon in a 1 inch bed. The carbon has no odor and is ideal for more sensitive individuals.
It is built for household chemicals and odors. That covers the kind of smell a new chair, perfume or laundry detergent leaves, and carbon can help reduce it. It will not take every chemical out of the air.
15.5 in high and 12 in wide, with 3 fan speeds and no casters. Airpura sizes it for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft at 2 air changes an hour, with 8 ft ceilings. Airpura rates the 400 series at 25 dB on low to 54 dB on high.
After the carbon, an H13 HEPA filter, rated by Airpura at 99.97 percent of particles at 0.3 microns. Change the carbon every 2 years, the HEPA every 3 years and the pre-filter every 12 months. Power runs about $0.27 a day on medium (Airpura).
