Read the model code on the badge on the front of your Airpura. It has to read T400 DLX.
Airpura T400 DLX. The plain T400 takes a coconut shell carbon instead. Every other 400 model takes its own canister.
This is the Airpura T400DLX Carbon Filter (Gas + Odor Control). There is no UPC to match for this one, so match it by model name.
- One carbon canister, the whole gas and odor stage of the machine
- 12 lb of impregnated carbon, a potassium iodide and coconut shell blend
- 2.25 inch deep carbon bed
- Tar Barrier and HEPA Barrier are separate parts
Change it every 2 years.
The potassium iodide speeds up how fast the carbon binds chemicals, so it pulls the chemicals in heavy tobacco smoke out of the air quicker.
