The Junior's filter holds over 6.5 lb of activated carbon and zeolite, to remove chemicals, gases and household odors. It suits the one room where the smell lives, like a bedroom near the cat box. Carbon holds a smell rather than covering it, and it will not take out every trace. A strong, constant smell uses the filter up sooner.
Austin Air makes it to run all day and night in a bedroom or small living space, on three fan speeds. Austin Air rates its Junior machines at 47 dB on low, 50 dB on medium and 67 dB on high.
It suits a child's room, a nursery, a guest room, a home office and small apartments. It is 16.5 in high, 11 in square and 21 lb. It carries no set square footage rating.
One filter is designed to last up to 5 years under normal home use. If it wears out early, Austin Air's pro-rated warranty takes 40 percent off a new filter in the first 2 years, 30 percent in years 2 to 3, 20 percent in years 3 to 4 and 10 percent in years 4 to 5.
Steel, with a baked on powder coat finish. It makes no ozone, no ions and no negative ions. It is on California's CARB certified list.
Austin Air covers the machine for 5 years from purchase under normal home use, once the warranty card is registered. It is handmade in Buffalo, New York.

Ships from Austin Air in Buffalo, NY, by UPS or FedEx. Processed the same or next business day (1 pm Eastern cutoff, Monday to Friday), then 1 to 3 business days in transit east of the Mississippi River or 3 to 5 west of it. Most orders arrive in 1 to 4 business days in the East and 3 to 6 in the West.

- Ships directly from the maker. Delivery time depends on the brand, see the line above.
- We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes or APO and FPO addresses.
- Models not certified by the California Air Resources Board cannot ship to California. Checkout will not offer California delivery for them.
- No customs or duty charges on delivery. The price at checkout is the full price.
- Your card is authorized at order and charged only when we accept the order and put it into fulfillment.
- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return within 30 days of delivery with a flat $25 restocking fee. If the box arrives damaged, accept it and email us photos. A damaged, defective or wrong item is replaced free; if you choose a refund instead, you pay return shipping and the $25 fee. Cancel free of charge any time before it ships; once shipped, it is a return. Refunds are issued 3 to 5 business days after the return reaches the Austin Air return facility.
- 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. The unit must be like new, in its original packaging, with everything included.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: flat $25 restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: replaced free, and we pay all shipping both ways. If you choose a refund instead of a replacement, you pay return shipping and the flat $25 restocking fee.
