The Pro 5 carries 14 lb of activated carbon in a 2.5 inch bed, which removes chemicals, gases and odors. That is more carbon than most home air purifiers carry. Your old tower catches hair, and this is for the smell it never touched. Carbon holds a smell rather than covering it, and it will not take out every trace. A source that never stops fills the carbon sooner.
It runs at 39 to 62 dB. The bottom of the dial is the night setting. At the top it is at the loud end of the 39 to 62 dB range.
AllerAir sizes the Pro 5 for rooms up to 1,500 sq ft, with a fan that moves 400 cubic feet of air a minute. It is 20.5 in high, 15 in across and 39 lb, on four wheels.
Replace the filters when you notice dust build up or odor, as AllerAir advises.
Choose Exec for standard air cleaning, and Vocarb for higher pollution levels, chemicals, fumes and odors.
A metal body with powder coated paint, so the unit itself does not off gas. It is on California's CARB certified list.

- Your card is authorized at order and charged only when we accept the order and put it into fulfillment.
- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return within 30 days with a 25 percent restocking fee. The return must be shipped insured for full value to AllerAir in St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. The unit must be like new, in its original packaging, with everything included.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: 25 percent restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: we pay all shipping both ways and no restocking fee applies.
- Refund to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection.
