The AirMed 1 carries 5.5 lb of real granular activated carbon for chemicals and odors. Most compact purifiers only have a thin mesh with carbon sprayed on, which fills up fast. Carbon holds a smell rather than covering it, and it will not take out every trace. A smell that never stops fills the carbon sooner.
It runs at 40 to 60 dB. Turned down at bedtime it is at the quiet end. On its top speed it is at the loud end of that range.
Replace the filters when you notice dust build up or odor, as AllerAir advises.
A metal body with powder coated paint, so the unit itself does not off gas. It is 16 in high, 11 in across and 14 lb, with a handle, so it goes from the bedroom to the room with the litter box. It is ideal for small rooms and spaces.
AllerAir covers the AirMed 1 for 3 years, parts and labor. It is not on California's CARB certified list, so we do not ship it to California.

- Models not certified by the California Air Resources Board cannot ship to California. Checkout will not offer California delivery for them.
- No customs or duty charges on delivery. The price at checkout is the full price.
- Your card is authorized at order and charged only when we accept the order and put it into fulfillment.
- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Return within 30 days with a 25 percent restocking fee. The return must be shipped insured for full value to AllerAir in St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. The unit must be like new, in its original packaging, with everything included.
- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: 25 percent restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: we pay all shipping both ways and no restocking fee applies.
- Refund to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection.
