The V400 is made for VOCs and chemicals, and it is a good fit for wildfire smoke. It pairs 8 lb of enhanced carbon, potassium iodide on coconut shell, with an H13 True HEPA filter for particles.
The carbon is the part that works on smells and gases. The True HEPA filter is the part for particles, and Airpura rates that filter at 99.97 percent of particles at 0.3 microns. That is a rating of the filter itself, not a result measured in your room.
It handles chemicals from paint, carpets, vinyl, heating fuels and ammonia, plus pet odors and pesticides tracked in from outside.
It measures 25 dB on low and 54 dB on high. The cabinet is powder coated steel, 15.5 in high and 12 in wide, 23 lb, with no casters. Airpura rates it for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft at 2 air changes an hour with 8 ft ceilings. It cleans the air inside the room and does not seal it from smoke outside.
Change the carbon every 2 years, the HEPA filter every 3 years and the pre-filter every 12 months. Ozone emissions: none.

Ships by FedEx from Airpura's warehouse in New York. Airpura ships most orders in 1 to 3 business days, then FedEx delivers in 3 to 5 business days. Most orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days.

- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Start your return within 30 days of delivery. The unit must be in the same condition you got it: clean, undamaged, with the box, foam pieces and manuals. It goes back to Airpura's warehouse at 156 Lawrence Paquette Industrial Dr, Champlain, NY 12919, and you pay the return shipping. A 25 percent restocking fee comes off the refund. A unit used to filter heavy chemical fumes, or during a renovation, is inspected when it arrives, and the restocking fee depends on the damage found. Refunds go back to the original payment method, the same card or account you paid with.

- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: 25 percent restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: we pay all shipping both ways and no restocking fee applies.
