12 lb of activated carbon, 100 percent coconut shell, in a 2.25 inch bed. This model is built for one job: it is specially designed to clean the air of tars and chemicals from tobacco smoke. It is made for homes with a smoker.
It cleans the air inside the room. It does not seal the room, so smoke that keeps arriving through a wall, a vent or a window means the machine keeps running. A Tar Barrier pre-filter sits in front of the carbon. Change it every 6 months, or anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on the amount of cigarette smoke.
Power costs about $0.27 a day on medium speed, running 24 hours. The fan has 3 speeds. It measures 25 dB on low and 54 dB on high, at 6 feet.

Ships by FedEx from Airpura's warehouse in New York. Airpura ships most orders in 1 to 3 business days, then FedEx delivers in 3 to 5 business days. Most orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days.

- We email you the tracking number as soon as the maker sends it to us.
- Arrived damaged? Accept the delivery, note the damage on the carrier's receipt, and email us within 48 hours with photos. We arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Start your return within 30 days of delivery. The unit must be in the same condition you got it: clean, undamaged, with the box, foam pieces and manuals. It goes back to Airpura's warehouse at 156 Lawrence Paquette Industrial Dr, Champlain, NY 12919, and you pay the return shipping. A 25 percent restocking fee comes off the refund. A unit used to filter heavy chemical fumes, or during a renovation, is inspected when it arrives, and the restocking fee depends on the damage found. Refunds go back to the original payment method, the same card or account you paid with.

- Email sales@purifierhaven.com for a Return Authorization number first. Returns without one are refused.
- Change of mind returns: 25 percent restocking fee, you pay return shipping.
- Wrong, damaged or defective item: we pay all shipping both ways and no restocking fee applies.
